I'm glad you wrote this Tim. Surprisingly, I hadn't come across Kirsty and now, having read your piece and her posts, I feel I have missed out.

Having faced some of the battles she has faced over the years (as many have) I'll do my best to keep providing useful content and support to people who have lost their jobs although it'll always poor a poorer version of her wisdom.
